Re: 2014 Transmission

Need to test it out with ECO on and off. Pretty sure it happens in both instances though. Might call the dealer for the ol' run-around.

Re: 2014 Transmission

Tried reading through most of the messages here and came to the conclusion that most people either have lurching or problems downshifting. My problem is shifting between gears 1, 2, and 3. If I...

Re: So I traded in my 2012 overland...

I'm thinking of doing the same thing, trading my '11 Overland for a 14' Overland or Limited, but I'm a little hesitant after reading about the problems people have experienced in the troubleshooting...

Re: Alarm went off

I had a similar situation last summer except it was the left rear door which was acting up. If I touched the rear door before the front, the alarm would go off. Then, if I locked the doors with the...

Firestone Destination AT or.... ?

2011 WK2 w off-road package here. Noticed extreme wear on two of my tires last week so I took it in to the tire shop and they told me I have an alignment issue. They suggested two new Michelin MS2...

Re: Daytime Running Light Replacement DRL

Passenger DRL is out here. Can't find anything online about how to change it, even searched on YouTube. The only thing I've seen here is to open the hood and screw something 1/4 turn to pull out...

Re: NEW 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee spy pics(thanks 12sleeper!)

I second that awful rear bumper. What's next, an all chrome car? Personally I like the painted mirrors, grill, door handles, and bumpers. They should make an Overland B model like that.

Jeep starting on its own...

Ok, my apologies if this has a thread, can't find anything on the WK2 section.

My jeep, a 2011 Overland, started on its own the other day in the driveway. Keys were hanging on the rack. I heard...

My last Weathertechs lasted 6 years, 70,000 miles. The rubber on the Weathertechs felt like it had a layer of plastic or something on top, definitely a harder rubber material and I never had an...

Looks like the OEM Jeep mats wear out a lot faster than Weathertechs I've had in the past. The area where my heel sits from driving has completely worn down to the flat part of the mat - I guess the...

Re: Help! FOB died??

Update:
Tried the 'answer' listed above this post and it did NOT work. Ultimately had to take it in to the dealer, who gave me two new keys. They were unable to give an explanation.

Re: Help! FOB died??

OK good, that's what they told me as well. The battery in the fob is only used for the actual buttons on the fob itself. You can remove the battery and the car would still recognize the fob to...

Re: Best Floor /Cargo Mats

Love the Jeep (Mopar) floor mats and cargo mat. These are thick, heavy, rubber mats that have served their purpose well with all of the snow here. I actually don't mind the Jeep logo because, after...

Re: Is there a way to turn of the beep of the power liftgate?

Why not just close it the old fashioned way when you don't want to hear the beep? Pull it closed with your hands - I do that because it takes too long with the button.

Definitely weaker than my 04 WJ. But then again, they had a big recall related to the heated seats on my year/model. Maybe they toned everything down due to this... ?

Re: SEMA: 2011 Overland Carbon Edition

How much weight would that save, 200 lbs tops ?

Like the interior, I'd take carbon fiber or brushed aluminum in place of wood - real or fake - any day. I agree - too much cf on the exterior.
