Re: 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and Summit Footage

Not a fan of the diamond stitching either. My in-laws just bought a new Explorer Platinum with the same stitching and it looks even worse.

That trailhawk looks awesome. I'd give up my '14...

Re: DIY homemade air suspension links. Install with pics!

I've never heard of any manufacturer giving you a free alignment. I had a BMW with free maintenance and the alignments weren't free.

The only situation that it might apply is if you literally...

Re: Trading in Limited with mods

No chance that intake fits on the SRT.

I'd say for the convenience, leave it all on and trade it in. I had a ton of mods done to my WJ when I traded it for my WK2. I could have taken a lot...

Re: 2018 TrackHawk image? (no)

Again you have no proof and are wrong. Check out the SRT section of the forum where all the guys with superchargers have sub 4 second 0-60 times and that's with maybe 550-600whp.

And...

Re: What tires really fit?

No HD brakes on V6 with tow package. To confirm, check to see if your Jeep has vented rear rotors.

And wow, that is not much clearance.

Re: LED pods - yes or no?

IMO, a-pillar lights look terrible on any vehicle that isn't a wrangler. And even then, I'm not a fan. I put some cube lights in the grille of my WJ and they looked/worked great.

Screwing...

Re: Just drove a 2017 Pacifica. Impressed!

I pass an Odyssey almost every day that is lowered with a body kit, wheels and roof rack. JDM, yo.

Re: Independence Day II - WK2 makes an appearance

Ugh, Mopar couldn't have made a better looking grille guard to accent the Jeep front a bit more??

Funny how the kitted out GC's blasting through the desert are 14-16 models, not the '17...

Re: Just drove a 2017 Pacifica. Impressed!

I thought they were heading toward a brand image thing? Compare the 200 to the JGC summit front bumper. They both have the chrome swoosh across the lower section, and now that same feature is...

Re: Different size wheel spacer?

Perfectly fine. Most sports cars do this due to different offset/width wheels and large front brakes.

Re: Quadralift lowering/leveling/lifting Links DIY

Seems like you'll be fine based on other accounts. I lowered mine a bit in the front and back now and love the look. Wish I could swing some wider 22's right now.

Re: Installed Bora 1.25 spacers and KO2s only. Why is my steering wheel vibrating??

Yeah, maybe they weren't properly torqued at all the first time lol.

Spacers will magnify any imbalance in your wheels/tires/alignment, so you may have had a tiny unnoticeable vibration before...

Re: I Want Spacers

Yeah, I wouldn't say it looks 'great' from behind, but from the side the Jeep looks better. I think a 1" spacer would be the sweet spot, but then you'd have to cut the stock studs.

I'd much...

Re: Installed Bora 1.25 spacers and KO2s only. Why is my steering wheel vibrating??

I just put spacers on as well, and also slightly lowered my QL with adjuster links. I have the same steering shimmy between 60-70 mph.

I thought it had something to do with the O-rings on the...

Bump for tech answers and not random chatting. I took all the o-rings off.

Got a bit of a wobble in my steering wheel after the spacer install, but only between about 60 and 70. I spend a lot of...

Re: Lowering Links: Airmatic vs. Adjustable Air Ride

I don't see Jeep on the airmatic manufacture list.

Re: I Want Spacers

Can't find it in this thread, but what did everyone do with the o-rings on the hubs when they put the spacers on? Keep them in place, put them on the spacers, or remove altogether?

WK2jeeps shows it should be 75W-85, was that a typo?

Re: Attention: Everyone who hates the chrome window trim...
