Re: Side view mirrors auto tilt when in reverse

On my BMW, the mirror tilt was only the passenger side, and only tilted if you had the mirror adjust selector in the right mirror position. Switch it over to the left position and the mirror wouldn't...

Re: well she's on air.

Race teams would never run air because the system is too heavy. There, good enough answer for you? Your definition of "doesn't hurt performance" is apparently "needs to be good enough for F1...

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT? TrackHawk? TrackHawk Hellcat?

They should fire the graphic artist who made that rendering. So basically a Summit model with SRT LED's and an Overland rear fascia inset into the Summit fascia?? With an 11-13 grille and black...

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee REFRESH

I thought the knob was for the 9 speed and the funny T handle was the 8 speed? Or does the Ram have the knob and the 8 speed?

I personally think the knob is dumb. Not a huge fan of the 8...

Re: Used 2014- What should I pay?

That's a great price for the mileage. All the SRT's I've seen at that price have had 25k+ miles. And I looove the white.

The pics show a huge sunroof. Wonder if the details are wrong or the pics are from a different Jeep?

Re: DC metro area group buy

Based on the Koons website and the commercials I've seen, they might already have advertised prices lower than what you can get on this group buy! It's probably only for 2014 Jeeps, but they have...

Re: Amount off MSRP for 2014 Summit???

Local dealer here has a '14 Summit Diesel listed for $47,320 which is $10k off MSRP. They also have a few V8's and a V6 for about the same price off. It's killing me to see those prices and not be...

Re: Considering a 2014 SRT Jeep. Decent aftermarket shop in NYC

I've seen a few in my area around that price, but they usually have pretty high miles. Seen them as high as 35k miles surprisingly.

Autotrader is a good resource for searching, seems like most...

Re: Lots of 2014 Ecodiesels left over

Re: Lots of 2014 Ecodiesels left over

I reeeeeeally want the SRT, but no way my wife is paying that much for any vehicle. There are a few leftover 2014 diesels around this area that are marked over $9k off MSRP, insane discount. Wonder...

Re: SRT better buy than Macan or SQ5?

Silver Overland, 3" OME springs and 31s, but basically looks like a stock jeep should haha. No more minivan stance.

I'm in Columbia heights and I see a black, pre-facelift SRT WK2 driving...

Re: SRT better buy than Macan or SQ5?

Where do you live in DC? I've seen an SQ5 in my condo parking garage a few times, but the spot is usually taken by an RR Evoque.

I'm in downtown DC as well, driving a slightly lifted 04 GC. ...

Re: Livernois's Whipple supercharged 2014 SRT Jeep

LOL at the "Inferno Gato" package on your site, nice name :D Any idea how much power one could net from that? If the non-built motor makes 600whp, I'm guessing we could expect at least 700whp? ...

Re: What caused damage to my front tires inner edges only

I'd guess improper toe scrubbing the tire. No way the camber being off a degree or two would wear out a tire to that extreme.

When I lowered my last BMW, I (stupidly) never got an alignment...

Re: Deceleration whine

Seems like it might be normal for an AWD vehicle. The transfer case in my WRX was quite loud and letting off the gas is usually when you hear gear whine.

Re: 14StormTrooper & JVM S/C Installs

If you think about it, since the belt is always spinning the blower, there is some boost being made all the time, even at idle. The BOV needs to have a fairly loose spring to constantly let out this...

Re: Supercharged '14 SRT For Sale...

Ugh, looks amazing. But yeah, the price is a bit over the top. Used with less miles are going for high 50s. Sorry, you aren't getting your 20k back in mods. Better to just sell the mods at this...

Re: 2015 Summit Platinum

That's a very similar interior to my old BMW, except only the seats, door panel inserts and center console were brown and the rest was black. I'd rather have the dash black honestly.

And I...

Re: Who's 2014? 22" SRT reps, GTHaus, BlackOps lip...

Seems like a great price to me. 18k miles isn't a ton and the thing is selling for $10k less than new with mods. I really need to move into a cheaper place so I can afford one of these bad boys.

Re: Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Hellcat...

Dude, that engine has like 400 lb-ft of torque at 1500 rpm. That's the good thing about a positive displacement blower, torque is instant and stays flat basically across the rev range.

Re: DC metro area group buy

I drove a diesel limited model, pretty nice but...

Re: My 99 WJ...finished fat bobs, r1, and wheels/tires

Yeah, that lift looks like at least 4", maybe more. Your whole suspension is out of whack and you probably aren't getting much help from the sway bars. Not to mention your front axle is most likely...

Re: 3/4" or 2" lift questions

I'd just run 1" spacers if you want a bit more room for tires. If you want 2" more, go with a set of 3" springs to replace your stockers.
