Well.....there seems to be a temporary fix to the sand mode issue. On Wed a tech came over to the local service centre and did a software tweak that apparently disables the ABS when you choose sand...

I am lead to believe that it is only a software installation. Unfortunately can't...

I spoke to the mob at Gateshead and apparently Jeep is still working on the fix and the latest TSB wouldn't solve this issue. Apparently it has been 4-5 months since Jeep has been working on this...

16-18 wks seem to be the average waiting time for Overland...
In my case : order placed - last week Nov 2011, Delivery hopefully next week
Might have got it delivered ~2 weeks earlier if not for...

It probably gets unloaded at Port Kembla. Anyone else in the same 'boat' as me ?
