Why do you think its the driveshaft? I'll look at it tomorrow when theres some light.

No one has mentioned the faulty plastic inner door handles that crack or break. Not sure the year range affected, but mine is a 2005 jeep grand cherokee limited. Plenty of posts and youtube videos...
