Re: Chrome window trim covered with gloss black vinyl

Looks still just as good as I had it installed. It might help that my car is garage kept and is only driven approximately 6k miles a year.

Re: 2014 Tahoe vs JGC

I would definitely wait and don't get the first year of the next generation either. So then you are looking at a 2015 or 2016.

People compare the interiors but you have to remember the Tahoe has...

Re: 2014 Tahoe vs JGC

I own a 2008 Tahoe with the 5.3 v8. I have about 50k miles on my Tahoe and I've had no problems. I average about 12mpg which is the same I average on my Jeep. And the Tahoe is rolling on 305's with...

Re: Yellow Fog Light Bulbs (Nokya H16)

Installed these on my Jeep and Tahoe at the same time. One of the Jeep ones burned out in 1 month. The Tahoe ones have been goin strong for over 6 months. Weird.

Re: Eibach pro-kit installed

My for sale thread is getting lost in all the non WK2 part threads but I am selling a brand new set of Eibach Springs plus non-autoleveling shocks/mount.

Re: Facination with chrome on the WK2

I drive for 12 hours a day for work and a vast majority of the Summit owners I see are over 50 years old. Old people like chrome since that's what was popular before the 2000's.

I personally...

Re: Anybody tow a toy hauler?

I know the engine and tranny can pull the load. I'm more worried about the short wheel base and the trailer pulling me around down the freeway. Plus usually toy haulers are a little on the taller...

Anybody tow a toy hauler?

Thinking of purchasing a toy hauler and a Polaris Rzr. I know I can get 19' toy hauler in the sub 4000lb range with an additional 1000lbs for the Rzr. I can tow the toy hauler mostly empty of fluids...

Re: Is the diesel really worth it????

With diesel being over .$50 the price of 87 I see no benefit. Plus I only drive 6k to 8k miles a year.

Not to mention the sound of the Hemi with my Gibson exhaust is worth the couple extra bucks...

I love my AFE exhaust on my Tahoe! Good power gain and was only $400 for stainless piping.

Re: Vinyl Wrap/Chrome Delete

The key to those corners in the rear side windows is to use a large piece of vinyl and cut the actual bend in the vinyl, not to bend the vinyl around the corner. It will neve turn around out bending...

Re: best/most popular aftermarket wheel choices?

Weird. When I was looking at these wheels a little while ago I could only find +12 but just checked and it looks like they came out with a higher offset. Sweet!!

Re: best/most popular aftermarket wheel choices?

Love those D2's. I know the offset on them is +12 which is kinda low for our Jeeps. Do you think they will work with a Eibach drop? Maybe with a 275 tire?

Re: Eibach pro-kit installed

What's the issues with the front install? Something to do with the pressure the springs are under?

Re: Can You Get "REAL" Tinted Front/Side Windows?

Re: Fuel usage

So doing simple division makes you a Jeep expert? Plus altering you driving habits to save a couple dollars is absurd when you purchased a $40k dollar vehicle.

If mileage concerns you that much then you bought or are buying the wrong car.

Re: Eibach pro-kit installed

I'm not scared of a little camber. I was running -2.5 in the rear on my g35 sedan.

If I could get my hand on some coilovers my Jeep would have a zero finger gap all around.

Re: The Vipers are on!!

How's the wheel protection with the 285's? Does the sidewall poke out a little from the wheel? My wife drives this car most of the time and she has been known to lightly tap curbs once in a while. :)

That looks great!! I'm gonna go with gloss black. I wonder why the 22x10 doesn't fit? I come from the g35 world and we made everything fit. Haha.
