Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Any chance of a rear ELSD or locker with the PUG in the ORAII package?

Re: Lost dash/gauge daytime backlighting

Interesting, thanks. I see yours is 2005. I suppose it's possible that the malfunction is within my brain rather than the vehicle. But I was driving early Monday morning with bright sunrise sort of...

Lost dash/gauge daytime backlighting

'08 WK Laredo 4.7L. Gauge/dash backlighting suddenly only works when headlights or running lights are on. Should be full brightness in "daytime" conditions, but nothing now. Brightness adjustment...

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

The Start/Stop PUG seems great to me as well, but continued lack of available rear ELSD (like available with hemi and diesel) would be a deal breaker for me. I want fuel economy AND off-road...

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee REFRESH

Jeep realized they had compromised too much on off-road capability of WK2, so they're adding 4 inches of suspension travel all around, rear ELSD on ORA packages for V6, and front ELSD on ORA for all...

Thanks Milous, haha. Any chance of a rear ELSD or locker option with that PUG?

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee REFRESH

Agree, seems strange. I actually want start-stop in my next vehicle as well. The FCA design seems to get good reviews in '15 Cherokee and some RAM 1500 V6's which have it now (compared to many poor...

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee REFRESH

Completely agree. Rear limited-slip diff (or locker like Cherokee) in the ORA packages, and engine start-stop (like Cherokee...) to boost the mpg even more, would further cement parting of my cash.

Nice indeed. Curious if you have the "quadralift" adjustable height air suspension?

Re: 2016 to get twin turbos?

I might even go for a basic DI upgrade for the NA PentaStar in the JGC- as long as rear limited-slip or locker (like KL TrailHawk) is available, unlike now. Wouldn't mind having start/stop either.
