Re: iPhone holder?

I'm using a Brodit / Proclip holder. Used on 2012 and now on my 2014.

Re: Trading Mirror Covers

OK, here we go, after ~ 2 months the nice bright white Plasti Dip turned a bit yellow, not really yellow but enough of a tint to notice.
Took the rubber coating off and would not recommend using...

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

I just don't get why they won't simply put a disclaimer there, we or a passenger acknowledges, while most likely playing with other buttons on our iPhones, no?

That reduction of functions is...

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

I won't buy another vehicle where I can't press buttons on my head unit while driving, that's simply ridiculous.

Re: Trading Mirror Covers

Good white colour match, i used glossifier.
After ~2 months I've noticed a slight yellow tint, not sure if I would dip again, probably better getting it properly painted / clearcoat.
Also you have...

Re: I Think I Fixed My Rough Shifting 8sp Transmission

Mine is better, the cold start hard 1 to 2 shift under no engine load has disappeared completely for 1 months or so.
What remains is an impossible drivetrain/tranny combination, I simply hate that...

My AC Auto airflow issue has been fine since that one instance, I'm not too worried about it right now.
Cars are simply way too complicated, more computers than anything :-)
My heated steering...

Re: And yet another JEEP recall announced today

I don't mind as long as it gets acknowledged and fixed. I do mind when I have to pay outside of the warranty period for things that never ever seem to break on Japanese vehicles.

Re: V-6 or V-8, regrets?

Totally regret not having a Hemi, the GC is too heavy for the V6, that engine would be fine in a sedan but not in such a heavy SUV.
Turbo Diesel with same displacement is fine with lots of torque.

Re: White vs Granite Grey

Agree 100%, besides the obvious issues with built quality, body panels, tank lid, doors not lining up... the 8 speed must be the most disappointing issue with this vehicle.
Why? Is this a...
