Re: Tailgate Struts.

Disregard this! You have a WK2 (2011 and up), so will get better advice posting in that section.

Doing a quick search, it looks like a lot of place are out of stock for both the manual and...

Re: Tailgate Struts.

They are really easy to replace - about a 10 minute job. You can get the OEM ones from just for jeeps for about $40 for the pair.

When I replaced mine, I went with aftermarket ones from rock auto...

Re: 07 hemi driveline vibration problem

I'd check the wheel bearings. Does the sound change at all when cornering as the bearing is loaded and unloaded?

These can produce a low hum and produce a vibration when really bad.

Re: 2007 Self Shifting Into 4WLow & 4WNeutral

How do you know it is going into 4-Low?

I think if you were able to shift into 4-low at 40MPH something is very wrong. There are all sorts of electronic checks to make sure a proper shift...

Re: Losing power when turning

What motor do you have? 2WD or AWD/4WD?

First guess would be that the stability or traction control system is kicking in. Are you seeing the icon of the yellow car with swervy lines behind it...

Re: Help! Slipping in front somewhere.

If the wheel speed sensors are providing improper input, they can cause all sorts of havoc with the traction control system. This can indeed cause mechanical resistance (especially if the brakes are...

Re: Help! Slipping in front somewhere.

Start with the wheel speed sensor. This could cause your problem, and the computer is already telling you it is bad.

Not too bad of a job and a relatively cheap part.

Re: if i got a new throttle body....

Shouldn't have to have it reprogrammed, you should be able to just plug it in.

Seat belt light with new heated seats

I think the weight sensor has to be calibrated with a scan tool. May require a trip to your dealer.

Re: How to drop the rear head liner on 2012 grand cherokee

The easiest way is to post in the correct forum

This thread is for the WKs (2005-2010) and yours is a WK2 (2011+).

I'm sure someone over there will be able to answer your question.

Re: Tranny temp with scangauge on 5.7

Depending on the type of driving you are doing and the ambient temperature, this sounds reasonable.

This is likely not a result of the N23 recall. I would recommend if it has not had the recall performed (you can check on the Jeep website, though it likely has before it was sold to you), not to...

If I'm reading the numbers correctly, your camber is out on the front left and rear left. All the rest looked within range.

For the front:
Castor should be 4.0 (3.55 to 3.45 acceptable)
Camber...

Re: Bad sound coming from front end... sounds like I need grease in a bearing or some
