Re: panoramic sunroof rattles

Thanks for the update, although sorry your issue wasn't resolved. At least I feel a little better for not even attempting to address the rattle in our 2011 Overland Pano Sunroof by the passengers...

Re: panoramic sunroof rattles

Been living with my rattle since 2011. Have found no "definitive fix" here, and like you, am not about to have a dealer tear my headliner apart! Aside from this one complaint, the truck has been and...

Was at the dealer last week getting the oil changed on my 2011 Overland, and saw my first 2014! WOW!!!

Some really nice changes. Love the front, the larger radio/screen and LOVE LOVE LOVE...

Re: panoramic sunroof rattles

Interesting, it says 2012 - 2013. I've got a 2011 Overland that's had a rattle since day one in the Panoroof. So I guess I just keep driving with the radio up loud!!

Re: Mineral grey

The color DEFINITELY takes on different "hues", depending on time of day, ambient lighting, etc., etc.

Re: panoramic sunroof rattles

Funny, mine's been really quiet all winter during the cold. I thought (prayed) it had finally "settled in" and was gone. Today, weather warmed up to 40 degrees, and guess what? Rattle's BACK!!!...

Re: Bosch Icon Wiper Blades

two questions:

1.) What's the difference between the Bosch "Icon" and the Bosch "Evolution" blades?

2.) What size blade goes on a 2011 Overland?? I've read 21" in some places, and 22" in...

Re: panoramic sunroof rattles

And it's exactly stories like these, that have kept me from bringing the car to a dealer service department for this issue! :slapfight:

Re: panoramic sunroof rattles

Very sad that Chrysler hasn't stepped up to the plate on this issue in three model years!! My 2011 Overland Pano has made noise / rattled since the very first day I drove it. It comes and goes. We've...

Re: Is Anybody on here happy with there WK2?

Really interesting, reading all the posts. Seems from my (totally un-scientific) review, that the vast majority are happy with their Jeeps. Based on the premise that "Perfection Doesn't Exist", I too...

Re: Tire Recommendations

Looking for a good all season, all weather tire to replace the Goodyear Wrangler HP's (OEM tire). Thinking about the Continental LX20's. Anyone have any experience/comments about them?

Re: panoramic sunroof rattles

I've had brief "hopeful" moments when I thought it might be gone.....but then it's back. I wouldn't bet on a "rattle" just going away for good unfortunately. :(

Re: panoramic sunroof rattles

No, not exactly. Mine never really "goes totally away". It does seem to change with different positions of the roof and sunshade, but (as I'm sure you can relate), once you've heard it, you just keep...

Re: panoramic sunroof rattles

Funny, (not really) that's EXACTLY where the rattle is coming from on my 2011 Overland. Like you, my rattle was there from the day the vehicle was Brand New! I've been afraid to have my headliner...

Re: Alignment Question

So what you're saying, just to clarify for myself, is to take the "free" Front End Alignment, and I'll be fine?

Will be buying tires soon. My local Town Fair Tire will include a "Front End Alignment" for free, but suggests a "Total Alignment" for an additional 50 bucks! As far as I'm aware, there are no...

Tire Recommendations

Went to replace my Goodyear Wrangler HP's (P225 70R 16) today, and was very disappointed to be told they were discontinued. I've always gotten 50k miles out of a set, and have had them on the truck...

Yeah, it's amazing how different the color looks, depending on the lighting:

Re: panoramic sunroof rattles

Well, even though it may be six months out, I think it's encouraging the Chrysler is aware of the problem and working on a TSB. At least that means it's been acknowledged!

Been following every post on these forums related to the "roof rattle" and no one seems to have come up with a "definitive fix"! :(

Probably due to the fact that all these "rattles" aren't coming...
