Re: Highway shaking

I know this is an older thread but, mine started shimming last Friday afternoon at 62 mph so I let out of the accelerator to assess the situation. I could duplicate the problem multiple times then...

Need tire info

I have a 2014 Limited EcoDiesel that I have lowered 1/2 and I just bought some 20x9 SRT reps. I know that I can put the 265/50-20 on it but I was wanting some different options. Wider and shorter...

Re: SLY's ECODiesel Build + Need Input!

I read that your wheels are SRT reproductions, where did you find them? I saw some online but they are $1200 each. The wife fell in love with your Jeep and wants some on hers and I was really hoping...

Re: SLY's ECODiesel Build + Need Input!

I installed mine Saturday. I have learned since then that I have load leveling shocks. Sometimes I feel like an idiot. This vehicle is smarter than I am.

Re: Lowered my 2014 JGC Overland today!

Thanks a ton. There's no telling how much money in "like new" parts I'd have laying around.

Re: Lowered my 2014 JGC Overland today!

Okay, I am officially an idiot. It does have load leveling shocks. I guess I need to find out what replacement goes on it. I hate to call Eibach back.

Re: SLY's ECODiesel Build + Need Input!

How did you lower yours? I bought the non SRT kit from Eibach and I am disappointed by the way it sits in the back. The front came down good but the back is like I never touched it.

Re: Lowered my 2014 JGC Overland today!

I didn't even think about the shocks. I didn't think it had anything special on it. I guess I could call the dealer and ask if it has them. I hate to sound like an idiot but I have no clue.

Re: SLY's ECODiesel Build + Need Input!

You have a very nice GC. I am working on the same thing. My wife is wanting a Storm Trooper look. We are in the process of blacking it out too. Lowered it last weekend and it doesn't sit like I want...

Re: Lowered my 2014 JGC Overland today!

Mine says not for SRT. I just called Eibach and they told me that the only thing I could do is to remove the kit and sell it as "like new".

Lowered my 2014 JGC Overland today!

I'm planning on giving them some settling time. I don't think they'll settle the 2" or so I'd like them to.

What are road magnets?

Re: Lowered my 2014 JGC Overland today!

Okay here it is. Eibach told me that they couldn't tell me how my Jeep would look once it was lowered bc they hadn't tested a diesel yet. I figured that it shouldn't make that much of a difference. I...

Re: DEF Level at Delivery

DEF has a shelf life of 2-3 years before crystallization occurs. I keep it in bulk and have never had an issue.

Oh I prefer the "ancient" trucks myself but out of the emission ideas, I use the term ideas loosely, I think the SCR trucks are far better.
