I have not done this yet. I will test drive the diesel this weekend though. I think THIS might be all I need to decide.

I have driven the new HEMI w/8-speed. Loved it.

Re: Help me decide. Diesel or HEMI

My commute to work is about 15 one way. On the weekend however, I might be inclined to take a 100 mile camping trip.

Mostly though,, it will be a daily driver.

Help me decide. Diesel or HEMI

I have done countless hours of research, and just when I think I have made my decision, I find something to sway me.

I am coming from a 2011 JGC Overland with HEMI and loved it. I will say the...

Well crap. Now I've been reading up on the diesels.

It seems like there is not a single review that is short of awesome. So many decisions.

At least if I go diesel, I pretty much have to go...

Anybody Near Pineville, NC?

Odd favor. I found a JGC I am interested in, but it is in Pineville, NC and I am in San Antonio, TX.

Is there anyone near Pineville that would be willing to kick the tires of a JGC for me?

Re: Would you take your 2014 Summit Offroad?

Probably just dirt roads. I haven't done much camping since I moved to Texas, so I don't really know what to expect in terms of getting to the campsites.

Definitely no rock crawling. I doubt...

Just curious. I am looking at buying a 2014 Summit in the next month and wondering how it would hold up.

Now, I'm not talking about rock crawling or anything extreme like that, but more like...

Is the 2014 Overland better than the 2013?

The main...

They are both Overlands. What is the offroad adventure package? What does it add/subtract compared to an Overland without it?

What package adds 20" wheels?

I am looking at two 2012 JGC's, one has 20" wheels the other 18". Besides that and color, they seem the same.

Just wondering what options might one have that the other doesn't.

Thanks!

Re: 2011 Overland Creaking Suspension

I have about 45,000 miles so far. Easy driving, mostly interstate.

I have an appointment at the dealership, but they said there are no recalls or TSBs outstanding on my VIN.

2011 Overland Creaking Suspension

I have a 2011 Overland 4x4, 5.7L that has some terrible suspension creaking going on. I can hear it in both the front and rear.

Any ideas? Is there any recall that would cover this?

Re: Replacing strut (QD2)

Ok. So would it be better to replace the one and get the part (at $1200) from the dealership, replace both with Ebay struts (about $500 each) or replace both with struts from dealership ($2400 ...
