Re: Does your 3.6L Transmission do this

Agree. Mine was built in March 2013 as well. It is a V6. Shifts smoothly with the flash updates done. Only problem not software was a leaky rear shock replaced when it was about a year old.

Re: Does your 3.6L Transmission do this

I get around the warmup by using the paddle shifter when starting out from my house. Typically, I back out of the driveway, then after selecting drive, paddle shift into 2nd before hitting the gas. I...

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Love the paddle shifters and no issue with the current shifter. The paddle shifters, once used to them, give you the best features of having both an automatic and manual transmission. So easy to...

Re: Solution to stiff seats?

I think it is for the safety systems to work such as the side air curtain. They need room. I have a '96 Cherokee Sport and a 14 Summit. The Cherokee has the seats close to the door while they are...

Re: Thinking of dropping my Jeep

I was one of the early ones. Ordered my 14 Summit V6 4x4 and received it April 6, 2013. I didn't have anything major. I had the recalls done but never had any of the problems actually happen. I...

Re: Free Sirius almost over, are you going to renew?

If you have the HK system, try listening to an FM HD station and then Sirius XM; very obvious difference in sound quality and Surround sound effect.

Re: HVAC (AC) after hard acceleration

Not sure about the time but if the air coming out of the vents gradually increases, it is likely due to the ice melting. If it changes instantly, something else is going on.

Re: HVAC (AC) after hard acceleration

Sounds like your A/C compressor is freezing up. The ice then blocks airflow. If you turn A/C off the ice starts to melt and when you run the fan airflow speeds up.
