Re: Subwoofer too loud - Grand Cherokee 2014 Limited

I have a 2014 Overland built in the fall of 2013 and the bass is usually too loud for me. Strangely enough, standing right outside it's barely audible so at least I'm not bothering other people...

Re: BioDiesel vs Petrolium Diesel

Our 2008 had about 130,000 mile on the odometer and there were no mechanical issues related to using biodiesel. FWIW, Chrysler said they only approved up to B5 in the Mercedes-Benz CRD engine.

Re: BioDiesel vs Petrolium Diesel

I ran B99 during the summer months with my 2008 CRD and didn't notice any significant difference in mileage.

My biodiesel supplier only sells B20 at locations near me so I haven't tried using B50...

No problems so far after 17,000 miles on our 2014 ecodiesel. I did get the recall notice about the sun visor wiring that can cause problems if the visor is removed.

Re: Grand Cherokee Makes Top 10 Stolen Crossovers & SUVs

The article says the Ford Exploder has the best in class 350 lb-ft of torque. I guess the WK2 isn't in same class since the 5.7 Hemi and ecodiesel have more torque. :)

Re: 2012 Grand Jeep Cherokee or 2014 Wrangler 4 door

Wrangle Pros:
It's fun to drive with the top off
Great off-road capability

Cons:
Poor road handling
It can be noisy although a hard top is probably better than the soft top.

My oveerland has the 18" wheels and didn't come with any locking lugnuts. I don't think I'll need them either since they are generally less desirable than the 20" wheels.

If your wife also had a key fob, the chime won't go off when your fob leaves the vehicle while the engine is running.

Re: Should I use REC 90 gas in my V8?

Is the Rec-90 taxed like regular gas? I'm just asking because one location at my biodiesel supplier also sells B100 for off-road use only which doesn't have any gas tax and it has the pink dye.
