Northern California - $3.35/gal mid-grade and fill-up is about $72.

Re: Who's gone 4 off road in their Summit

So far the most I've done is take it through some dirt and through large areas of water that everyone else was avoiding and was going around really slow. I pretty much just zipped on through.

For...

Re: Wk2 hemi oil change

So the "low" oil indicator might be because of a short dipstick. Oye! http://www.jeepgarage.org/f73/its-the-dipstick-on-the-hemi-90174.html

Re: Cooled Front Driver Seat

For cooling it depends. Since it grabs air from under the passenger seat sometimes it's not so cool, but other times it's pretty nice. I like it when I'm sweating cause it really helps. The type of...

Re: SiriusXm no sound on 730n/RHR

I hate when that happens. It happens not only to SiriusXM but also FM/AM and whatever else you might need audio for. It's a real pain and has been happening to me for years. The last time, last week,...

Re: Fuel Pump Relay Recall didn't fix shut off, now what?

This worries me because I just had the pump recall done yesterday. I'll find out later today when I try it out on the freeway. I found if I filled my fuel tank to capacity then go immediately onto...

Re: Quadralift FAILED

Had my quadralift fail a couple years ago. The dealer had the car for a week trying to find the problem. They were ready to rip out the interior of the car to get to the hose. I read here it was a...

Re: Wk2 hemi oil change

That great, but you still need to make a mess when you take that oil filter off.

Resurrecting this thread. Changed my oil today and the oil reaches the bottom of "Add." So, should I run to the store and add another quart? This happened last time and I added another quart without...

Re: Back from a 4x4 trip in snow

The first video I was wondering if you had converted your Jeep into a boat. It's good to see the Jeep make it through. How did the other vehicles do?

Thanks for sharing.

Oh, for goodness sakes. You've become their test subject to find out how to fix the problem.

Thanks for sharing your information and please keep us posted if the filter change fixes the problem. ...

When I was in the market for a car the only two things I really wanted were HID headlights and a sunroof. My old Jeep didn't have one and I came from a vehicle that had a sunroof. I missed it and I...

Re: Recall for the TIPM

The only thing that I experienced was the TIPM. I don't use the easy exit seats. Does sound like you need to go back to the dealer for the other problems.

Re: TIPM recall - long trips or not?

I personally would "risk" going since your vehicle hadn't even shown any symptoms. Your vehicle is probably fine. You'll know when you have the problem when your vehicle tries to start but doesn't...

Re: It's a Jeep so go through puddles

I made sure it was pretty shallow. I wouldn't go through ones that look like it'll swallow a car. Yikes.

It's a Jeep so go through puddles

It's raining like crazy here in Northern California. Apparently there's a lot of areas with standing water. Cars were going around some "puddles" but for me, I decided that since I'm driving a Jeep...

Re: For 5.7L HEMI: what octane rating of gas do you use?

I use the recommended 89 octane. I have used regular without a problem, but I figured I'll just pay the extra and get the gas that the car required.

Re: Anyone know what this part is?

I felt the other side of the plastic guard that holds the electric controls for the seat and it's possible it may have come from there. Not sure though.

Re: Anyone know what this part is?

Thank you for your reply, Steve. I seriously have no idea where it goes. It's hard plastic and one side looks like it has guides and the other side looks like it fits into a socket or hole.

Just a follow-up. Finally got this recall done on Thursday along with the sun visor recall. I'm glad it's finally done. So it took a few months since I made an appointment to finally get it done.
