Oil Pressure Sending Unit

Hey guys,

I got a P0520 / P0522 and took a look under the jeep and noticed that the connector to a plug/sensor just behind the oil filter had come loose. Is that where the pressure sensor unit...

Re: Jeep Recall

You can actually get your rig to turn over and run on the stock tune!?! We have similar mods and I can't run the stock tune at all.

Re: Backpressure Issues?

Advance your cam *4, go with 2.75, or 2.5" pipes, and get a custom tune. You'll have as much torque as you need. I'm going to switch to 2.5" pipes soon, for the stock 2.75" SRT system is too loud and...

Have you taken a look at your TB? Is it clean? It's easy to check...take of intake tube and open the butterfly for a quick look at the backside of the plate...should be spotless;) You can take it one...

Re: Cam swap...what else?

SCT is not the same as Superchips...you have both?
The SW cam is very tame. Your Superchips tune should be fine for the time being. It'll at least run, until you get a custom tune. I'd get the 180*...

Re: May 16, 2012 SRT Engineers chat session

Regarding the WK SRT8 exhaust, can you tell me why hot air comes out of the driver's side pipe and cold out the passenger's? Is it due to the muffler baffling, or do I and a few others who have...

Re: 2000 jeep grand cherokee no oil pressure when warm

What kind of oil filter are you using? If it's a Fram, change it out and put in a quality Mopar, Mobil, or Pure One filter, for the filter may not be allowing pressure to build up (drain back valve...

Re: Mods for the Adventurous Experimenters

Never heard of the TCI unit on a 5.7L...doesn't mean it isn't good, just don't know anyone running one. The chevy guys like to run them, so they're probably well made. The SLP/Powerbond pulley is a...

re: Which Cam for 5.7L WK?

You'll be happy with the SW...may want to consider the Superchips unit if you don't plan on going any further, for it has trans tuning capabilities that the DS doesn't.

re: Which Cam for 5.7L WK?

The main reasons for using the SW are for steet manners, ability to use canned tunes, and increased low end torque. With a larger cam, you need to advance the timing on a heavier vehicle like the...

What kind of plugs did you use? Others have had stalling issues with anything but the Champions. Do you have a programmer/scanner? I'd look at the fuel injectors too.
