Re: Help me out, Does anyone have a relatively trouble free Grand Cherokee

We have 2600+ miles on our 2014 Overland and it has been relatively trouble free. The only issues we have is the AC shutting off when we get into the car after a remote start and the need to push...

Re: hows my mpg

We're averaging 16.3 in our '14 V6 4x2 in 99% city driving never using Eco mode. Have not had the Jeep on a highway road trip yet; first will be about 250 miles in the fall. I'll have to remember to...

Re: WK2's Have Forward Collision Warning Issues

I've had the FCW chime come on a couple of times, always when driving aggressively in traffic when someone slows in front of me and I quickly speed up to change lanes. Very brief warning.

My...

None whatsoever... The steering wheel is solid as a rock at all speeds from a crawl to 80 mph. That's what most impressed me about the Grand Cherokee vs. the others we test drove, a Ford Explorer...

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

Mine does not. If I sit in the seat after my wife opens the car with her key fob and hit my setting button the seat moves straight back to my position; no forward movement. That would be annoying.

Re: 2014 Turn off the Radio

I think I would be OK with using the mute button to "turn off" the radio if the darned thing would stay muted. Unfortunately, every time I start the Jeep whether with the key fob or the start button...

Mine does, too... until I touch the driver door handle; then it shuts off. :(

Mine is an April build that came with 13.10.0. Now running 13.19.0.

Re: 2014 Turn off the Radio

Wow did this thread take a detour... :D

2001 premiered one week before my 9th birthday. I have owned it on S-VHS, a Criterion collection CAV LaserDisc, DVD and now Blu-ray. It's one of my...

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

I have not seen mention of this in any thread but, as an FYI, my 2014 3.6L Summit came from the factory with a dual exhaust. I think it sounds pretty good when I get on it.

Re: 2014 Turn off the Radio

That's the silliest thing I have ever heard. Who in their right mind makes a radio you cannot turn off? It's not like they're using a carrier signal on a radio or satellite band that always has to...

Question 2014 Turn off the Radio

We've had our 2014 Summit for several weeks now and I have a possibly really dumb question but I have been unable to figure it out... How do I turn the radio off? I don't mean mute it; I mean turn...

Re: Stock GY Fortera 20" > Expectations

Being in southwest Florida I would have loved the option of choosing a set of three season or summer tires. The one good thing is they'll be cheap to replace.

Re: SD Card

I have over 1200 albums ripped on my home PC / server in FLAC. I have everything from 16bit/44.1kHz CD to 24bit/88.2kHz SACD to 24bit/176.4kHz vinyl rips. I will not listen to compressed audio in...

Re: Dreading the day my tags show up

I lived in CA for 35 years and never put a front plate on any car I owned. I never got a ticket for it either. Also, even if you do get a ticket it's only a fix-it ticket. I was once ticketed for...

Re: Sloshing sound from under the car

Wowzer... The JGC we rented in California for 10 days at the beginning of the month sloshed like crazy. Though I was going nuts until the wife heard it, too. I did not think too much about it...

Re: Auto A/C on Remote Start - Diag

Thanks, Willx! We fell in love with the brown interior the second we saw it. The white is great in SWFL; keeps the car much cooler in the summer. This is our third JGC and we love it, too. I'll...

Re: 2014 GC 3.6L V6 enough?

We went from a 2004 JGC Limited 4x4 with the 4.7L HO engine to a 2014 Summit 4x2 with the 3.6L. We always liked the acceleration of the 4.7L HO unit and test drove a 5.7L. We're older and more sedate...

Re: K&N Intake 2014 Summit

If that is true then what about using the K&N tube with the stock airbox pulling cold air in from outside and a K&N filter? Would that be a better setup? What's the diameter of the K&N tube and could...

Re: 2014 Jeep GC Summit Black w/Brown Interior

Very nice. I love black cars. Unfortunately they get ungodly hot here in Southwest Florida. We picked up a white 2014 Summit on Saturday with the brown interior.

Re: K&N Intake 2014 Summit

Is the difference in power noticeable? I just brought home a brand new 2014 Summit yesterday. It's white, too.
