I will be going to the dealer on Thursday to have them check it out. If in fact it is the exhaust manifold any ideas on how much it would cost to replace?

If it helps, I can hear the noise more from the bottom of the car than when I open the hood and try to locate the ticking.

Same here basically. Commute to work is about 3.5 miles each way in stop and go traffic and I get about 11.7 MPG...with a 3.7L!
