Re: Pentastar V6 lack of torque of idle!

Well it sounds like the problem is way too steep of a hill or you didn't have it in first gear (yes, I know it's pretty easy to tell what gear you're in). But if you can smell clutch, either the hill...

Re: 2015 Premium soft top

I would say that pretty much sums it up. You'll enjoy it, I'm sure.

Re: 2015 Premium soft top

I have a 2014 Willys edition that has the dual top option, which includes the premium soft top as part of the dual top package. And it is thicker and has a different texture to it compared to the...

Re: Willys Package and the trail rated kit

I couldn't agree more. My dealer (salesperson) walked to parts with me, opened the box, made sure everything was there. For this dealer to try and charge for it is just crazy. Someone from Jeep...

Re: Willys Package and the trail rated kit

Yup, like SoCal said, it's shipped to the parts dept. with your vin on it. Otherwise every guy in the shop would have one. hahaha. Mine showed up about a week after I closed the deal. The dealer...

Re: Steering Column

Well Marlon, your statement about theft protection makes perfect sense. It doesn't have to lock if the key has a chip, never thought of that! Now us old timers like Walt and I, who remember when the...

Re: Steering Column

I forgot to mention my Wrangler is a 2014 Willys edition, maybe the higher trim levels are different, the Willys is based on the Sport trim. But after getting the same result on my wifes 2014...

Re: Steering Column

Well after reading the responses from other members, I had to check for myself, and sure enough after one full turn(plus a little) in each direction, it appears there is no steering lock! What the...

Re: Steering Column

Although I've never tried, I'm sure the column locks, it might take a half turn of the steering wheel to get it to engage, but since the ignition switch has been mounted on the steering column from...

Re: Uconnect update

Well, I went back to the dealer to get my wife's Cherokee's first oil change ( it's on the house, so why not?). I was told I needed 2 updates, one was a trans update and the other was a radio update....

Re: Coolant temps

After a few days of keeping an eye on my wife's 3.2, I have never seen it above 203. Here in NJ we haven't had extremely hot weather, but with temps in the high 80's on a daily basis, and living in...

Re: Coolant temps

Wow, sounds high, my wife's Cherokee is the 3.2, so might be completely different. But I'll check it out and let you folks know.

Re: Coolant temps

I would have to watch my wife's Cherokee more closely, but that sounds pretty high to me. My 3.6 wrangler stays steady at 201 - 203, but that's about it, 230 sounds way too high to me.

Re: Willy's grill

Like I said, the grill is part of the Willys package, it doesn't make it. The important part of it is the upgraded suspension and the trac loc rear. Buy the way, a buddy in the parts department...

Re: Willy's grill

I'd talk to a dealer about the Willys edition even being around for the 2015 model year. Many of the limited editions are a one year deal, ( the Moab edition of 2013 comes to mind) You can always...

Re: Cargo storage bin

After reading all the posts, I thought my wifes latitude had one, so after a quick trip to the garage, yes it does! Her's is a Latitude, 3.2, 4x4, comfort and conven, cold weather pack, it was bought...

Re: Sirius Signal Dropping Out

From what I'm seeing from the other folks speaking up, it sounds like my wife's unit is a worst case scenario. Maybe I should push for a new unit. It's just to the point in our mind that you can only...

Re: Sirius Signal Dropping Out

Keep us posted, I don't want to sound like I'm bashing my wife's Cherokee. I love the way it drives. Nicer than many of the cars we have owned, but the sirius reception is just aweful!!

Re: Sirius Signal Dropping Out

Granddriver, I have my doubts about the satellite switch thing, my new Wrangler is a 2014 and like I said, it hiccuped a split second or two. Where my wifes KL you can drive a couple miles with...

Re: Sirius Signal Dropping Out

My wife's KL is doing exactly the same thing. 3 trips to the dealer has got us the new antenna, with no improvement. We have a cabin in upstate NY that we visit every other weekend. We travel the...

Re: How do I erase radio pre-sets?

If the only reason is so you don't have to go through them all with your steering wheel control, set your 5 or 6 stations, and then just set the same 5 or 6 again.
