Re: Any non-OEM filter users, do you have knocking?

My guess is poor fuel also. Always use top tier fuel. Minimum 89 octane wouldn't hurt either. That engine can use all the help it can get moving around all of that weight.

Re: Accleration in the v8 vs v6

flashy,

I am in the exact position you are in. I too am considering either a 2012 Q5 2.0t premium plus or a JGC Overland. As far as the Q5 goes it is kinda small. The back seat is pretty tight...

Re: DIY - LOWER Air Dam Trim Removal (not the complete piece)

Ricko,

You don't buy that kind of stuff...stop at the first dealership you see and ask the service manager for some. I bet he just gives them to you. For a few cents worth of plastic they...

Re: White Gold popularity and a few new color questions

Flashy,

I have seen several white gold JGC's on dealer lots. I would call it a champagne color. IMO it is not a very 'deep' color, if you know what i mean. Kind of lacks luster. That being...

Re: 2011 WK2 Prices Paid

Two days ago I offered a dealer $39,000 cash for a 2011 mineral gray w/black v6 Overland. Only option was 730n media unit. He wouldn't take it. They have 21 2011's on the lot and he wouldn't take it!...
