  1. Tire Replacement Advice- Nitto / Yokohama / Cooper

    Suspension/Driveline/Brakes/Wheels/Tires
I’ve had the defenders on for about two months now the traction in the rain and snow are very good. They are very stable and track well in the snow. This is the first time I went with a all season tire than a winter rated a/t tire on all my jeeps with the stock tires wore out. So far so good!
  2. Tire Size Question - 2014 WK2 Limited

    Suspension/Driveline/Brakes/Wheels/Tires
Not sure but if they are 265/60/18 they will fit. Maybe call them to see what they are talking about.

If you ordered 265/60/18’s they will fit. Double check and make sure you ordered right size.

That makes sense. I only have 23k on my 16 and I’m keeping it awhile. Check out Kumho crugen HT51’s tread design similar to the defenders and a cheaper price
  5. Tire Replacement Advice- Nitto / Yokohama / Cooper

I had researched tires for awhile and ended up getting Michelin defender ltx’s. I looked at the Yokohama’s and out of the 3 they have the best reviews. The defenders will out perform all 3 of those tires in the rain and snow. Have you considered them?
  6. [Maintenance] Sway bar bushing part number?

    Suspension/Driveline/Brakes/Wheels/Tires
It’s a little beefier and reduces body roll.

I would just upgrade to the front srt bar. I think it’s around the same price as stock one.
  8. Decision, decisions.... Defender vs Wildpeaks, 2 very different tires...

    Suspension/Driveline/Brakes/Wheels/Tires
I only put 6-7K on my jeep and just put the defenders on. I plan on keeping it awhile. Wanted the best tire for the conditions I drive. Just do it you won’t be sorry lol.

I have had the defenders on for a couple weeks now and they are awesome.
  10. Dobinsons are on!

    Suspension/Driveline/Brakes/Wheels/Tires
No they didn’t go bad. Just wanted to upgrade. Ride is perfect IMO now. Very little body roll on smooth roads and handles rough roads like a champ. Just put on some Michelin defenders and everything is smooth.

I have the 5100 shocks on the back I put on 2 years ago along with front and rear upgraded swaybars. I was waiting for bilstein to come out with the 5100 struts for the 16+ jeeps but no luck. With the 5100’s in the back the rake was even more pronounced. About year or so ago Dobinsons was saying...
  12. Dobinsons are on!

    Suspension/Driveline/Brakes/Wheels/Tires
Had a buddy put these on Sunday. Leveled the jeep nice. Ride is nice. Overall very satisfied with it. I raised the perch a half inch to get an inch lift. It raised the front about 1.25 inches but I think it will settle back down to a inch.
  13. Has anyone used the Bilstein 5100s?

    Suspension/Driveline/Brakes/Wheels/Tires
If you want to level the jeep a little go with the 5100’s if not the 4600. Raising the front will not make the wheels look small. With the rear it won’t make any difference in height. It will raise it a little maybe 3/8 to 1/2 compared to the stock rear shock just because it’s a stronger shock...
  14. 2016 Suspension changes (effects certain lifts)

    Suspension/Driveline/Brakes/Wheels/Tires
I think they have been out for awhile. I was waiting for bilstein to come through with the 5100’s but no dice. So I bought Dobinsons instead.
  15. Went with the defenders!

    Suspension/Driveline/Brakes/Wheels/Tires
Thanks! Don’t off road with this jeep so I won’t be able to do that lol. They premiers were great tires and the only issue I had last winter was snow traction above 4-5 inches. They were great on cold wet streets.
