  1. Swap 2014 LED HID full headlight to 2017 halogen question

    Interior/Exterior/Visual/Lighting
No, it’s not that simple. First, I believe the 2017+ has the facelift front end, so while the lights may appear interchangeable they may not be. On that I’m not positive, but I believe the 2017 & 2018 look the same, which is definitely different than my daughters 2016. Then there is the...
  2. Swap 2014 LED HID full headlight to 2017 halogen question

    Interior/Exterior/Visual/Lighting
Title is kinda confusing. First thing: there is no such thing as LED HID - it’s one or the other. If your 2014 has factory HID you can’t swap them. If you simply have previously installed LED bulbs in your 2014 then it’s a matter of removing bulbs and installing others. If the bulb...

Excellent. I’ll have to consider these. Thanks.

^ that looks great! I knew the OEM Mopar “Trailhawk” sliders replaced the lower black trim, but I didn’t realize the RRO ones did too. Do they leave any unfinished areas or is it well executed?

LarEdo 265/65-17 is the same overall diameter but wider. Fits stock wheels. No rub. I run them on my 2018 Laredo. Initially had the Yokohama G015 and currently have the BFG K02’s.

It’s a block that you plug in to facilitate communication with the computer. It’s not the software and not the hardware/interface, it simply allows you to get past the electronic security that is intended to keep people from messing with the computer. I plug my bypass block in only when...

The standard system is AWD and has no switches or levers. The upgraded system has a knob on the console, which allows you to select different modes and Leo range. My Laredo included that QTII transfer case with the All Weather Off Road Package.

There are definitely threads on the various programs. A quick search should give you lots of info.
  12. RHR to Pioneer Navigation radio -- GPS signal?

    Audio/Visual/Navigation/Electronics
On my sons JKU we picked up an adapter from Best Buy, which converted the factorySXM antenna connector to the more standardized aftermarket radio input. If you only require one input for your new radio I’d think that would work. If you need two separate antenna, then consider just plugging in...

  14. Cell Phone Mount

    Interior/Exterior/Visual/Lighting
I used a Kuda mount and ProClip cradle for my iPhone. Yes, my 2018 has Apple CarPlay. The Kuda mount had no visible holes in dash. The ProClip cradle connects to my USB outlet, so it both activates CarPlay and charges the phone. You simply slide the phone in to dock it and it works great...

FWIW, I couldn’t make the Triton fit in the rear of my 2018, so I used their other 3157. I am using the Triton switchback in my front park/turn position and they are stellar. Mine are the older V3 Triton, but the latest one is V6.
  16. Which LED's do I need?

    Interior/Exterior/Visual/Lighting
LOL, it just seemed such a general question that “research” seemed the best answer. Most resistors will be splice in type. I know VLEDS used to sell some that had tap connectors and plugged into their proprietary resistor, so those are probably the cleanest install for the type you’re going...
  17. Which LED's do I need?

    Interior/Exterior/Visual/Lighting
You either need to add resistors or make a software update with something like AppcarFCA. There are many decent 3157’s out there. Each of us is likely to have our biases based on what we bought, so your best best is to search the prior threads on this forum and do some reading. There are many...

  19. UAQ/UAS Uconnect 4/4C Upgrade - DIY

    Audio/Visual/Navigation/Electronics
I picked up a 2018 7” CarPlay unit (can’t recall letter code) for my daughter’s 2016 WK2. The radio installed fine and works for everything except SiriusXM. I checked the leads at antenna and it appears both leads are connected (she had SiriusXM before) but no joy.

    Interior/Exterior/Visual/Lighting
Resistors shouldn’t be needed if you use the software to change to led settings. Much cleaner this way too.
