  1. Bi-Xenon Headlights...Which Trim Line on 2020?

    Grand Cherokee - WK2 -
Dealer tried to sell me a 2020 Limited with luxury group 2 with Bi-Xenons but it didn't have them. I took a 2019 instead. They didn't know that they were deleted from Lux 2 on the 20,s. You are corect, they now come in a seperate group. Beware,I nearly took delivery of a car that did not have them.
  2. shrader valve location on 3.6L

    Trouble Shooting/Problems/Service
Unfortunately a lot of fuel rails these days (including our 3.6 Pentastars) are plastic, they probably couldn't take the stress of the fitment of a Schrader valve without something snapping off.
  3. shrader valve location on 3.6L

    Trouble Shooting/Problems/Service
No, there is not. I guess you could fit one inline with the fuel inlet pipe if you could find some correct fittings.
  4. 2015 Altitude driver side wheel knock

    Trouble Shooting/Problems/Service
Is it a random noise hat comes and goes, or a constant rotational noise that increases as your speed goes up? Is it worse over bumps or no difference?
  5. FRONT CALIPER PIN

2014+ Jeep Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel 3.0
It is an 11mm allen, not a very common size but they are out there. Try ebay.
  6. Caliper fell off while driving!

    Trouble Shooting/Problems/Service
Someone at some time has left a caliper bolt loose on your Jeep, even on a 2015 a bolt shouldn't back off on its own.
  7. VERY small coolant drip

    Trouble Shooting/Problems/Service
The most common leak on the V8s is from the coolant pump but that should be easy for the dealer to see. There is an overflow tube on the expansion tank but there shouldn't really be any coolant coming out of it unless it is overfilled. Without seeing a picture it is hard to say, another place...
  8. 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Remote start stopped working

    Trouble Shooting/Problems/Service
Do you have any warning lights on, or messages in the cluster? Engine warning light on or low battery could cause your problem.
  9. Noticed a paint chip

    The Garage
Better with it than without it. I had it put on the hood and in he door entry points (I have 2 little kids that are not carefull how they get in and out). I am going to keep my car for a long time, so I want as much protection as possible.
  10. HELP WONT START AND RUN

    Grand Cherokee - WJ
I see your problem, sorry I can't give you any more help. I f you did get it to a mechanic it may not be worth repairing anyway. Maybe someone who knows more about your year Jeep can give you more help but the non start still sounds like an imobiliser fault to me, and I can't think of away...
  11. HELP WONT START AND RUN

    Grand Cherokee - WJ
Sounds like the anti theft module is not picking up the key. It could be caused by a lot of things but if you have taken the Jeep as a non runner it could just be something as simple as a bad or unprogrammed key. I wouldn't waste time guessing at parts, get it to a Jeep mechanic.
  12. I want to buy a 2017 v6 grand Cherokee i hear they are unreliable that surprised me is it true

    The Garage
Only if you get a Diesel. Also stay away from air suspension unless you really need it.
  13. 2019 3.6L swap to a 2015 3.6L

    Grand Cherokee - WK2 -
It's not just the PCM, there are lots of other control modules in your Jeep. These modules all talk to each other and if they don't see the correct information sent and recieved they could play up and cause all kinds of problems. I'm not saying it can't be done but its going to be a bit of a...
  14. N

    Trouble Shooting/Problems/Service
Thats not a metal hose, it is a wiring harness. The harness has metal armouring around it to protect it from heat damage.I can't see much from the pictures but you may have a leak from the rocker cover gasket and the oil is moving down the block..
  15. low idle, stalls at stops sometimes, loud clanging, less power,

    Trouble Shooting/Problems/Service
Checked those codes, they are oxygen sensor and hydraulic fan codes. From your description of the other problems it seems that you have bigger problems. Without seeing actually seeing your car it is hard to give any advice, I would get it to a mechanic as soon as possible. A loud clanging from...
  16. 2014 Cherokee Latitude no 4WD

    2014+ Cherokee-KL
Sorry no my mistake, it's late and I'm tired. I read Cherokee and was thinking of a Grand Cherokee. I believe on a Cherokee it is in the trunk at the rear below the shield that surrounds the spare wheel. Unfortunately I think your problem is more likely to be in the PTU (PowerTransfer Unit) or...
  17. 2014 Cherokee Latitude no 4WD

    2014+ Cherokee-KL
The DTCM (Drivetrain Control Module) is under a plastic shield in the floor below the drivers seat.
  18. Jeep Grand Cherokee Fault Injector 2 Timing code P020B-00

    Trouble Shooting/Problems/Service
My first guess (and it is a guess) would be the PCM. Also I think those injectors are programmable to the PCM.You would probably have to go to your dealer.
  19. 2019 3.6L swap to a 2015 3.6L

    Grand Cherokee - WK2 -
Sorry, I mean't Pentastar, not Pentatsar. Laptop keyboard is going bad:confused:.
  20. 2019 3.6L swap to a 2015 3.6L

    Grand Cherokee - WK2 -
Your 2015 has a 3.6 Pentastar engine, the 2019 has a 3.6 PUG engine. PUG stands for Pentatsar Upgrade. I think the biggest difference on the PUG is that it has EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation). The engines are not interchangeable and the dealer has given you the correct advice.
