So when I’m driving and turn my steering wheel a few degrees left or right of dead center all my cabin lights come on and dashlights too. I’ve read elsewhere that it has something to do with a door sensor but it even does it at a dead stop when I just spin the wheel a little. What would cause this?

My passenger side DRL has begun to crap out on me. It sometimes comes on, other times it flickers and then goes off, or it doesn't come on at all. The driver side has been working 100%. Do I really need to swap the entire assembly for this to work again? Already checked the fuses.
