I finally broke 13 seconds this morning at New England Dragway in the 1/4 mile.
Despite a cold and dry 35 degree temp, there was a good 15-20mph headwind up the track.
To save a little weight, I had about 2 gallons left in the gas tank.
I Kept it in Track Mode and paddle shifted through the gears.

My first run was my best time recorded. 12.918 seconds @ 103.76 mph.
My Time Slip profile has been updated in that section of the forum for anyone that wants to see the time slip.

After cooling it down, I pulled the spare/jack/cover. Nothing gained there as I got a 12.974 @ 104.42.

Last run I did was a 13.000 @ 104.74.

I finally reached my goal of breaking 13 seconds in my factory stock Jeep SRT8.

I can't wait to see what the 2014 versions will be like once they hit the tracks!
Congrats to all the new 2014 owners on board here. I think you will be very satisfied with it!

Nice run there and in great racing weather. I wished we could get that cold dry air here in SO CA as the 1st time we went out we had wet humidity of 80%. Heres your DA with the run of 12.918 at 10:25 am.

4/6/13 @10:25AM
temperature: 34 deg f
uncorrected barometer: 30.073 Hg
humidity: 31 %
vapor pressure: 0.195 Hg
dew point: 10.533 deg f
grains: 8.8 (this is the amount of water grains in the air and anything below 50 is great for racing as you cant burn water in the air)
air density: 105.590 %
density altitude: -1,874.189 ft. LOOK AT THIS DA lol.
