I knew the Jeep was faster but not by that much! The Cayenne looked like it was a minivan in that race. Good work!

any Cayenne turbos out there :p ?

i think in couple of months with more miles & the weather gets a bit cooler the SRT will do better :D

A small comparison

Jeep GC SRT $63k - $68k
Cayenne GTS $84k - $120K
Cayenne turbo $110k - $150k+
RR sport SC $85k - $96k

Jeep GC SRT officle 0-60mph: under 5s (470hp)
Cayenne GTS officle 0-60mph: 5.5s (420hp)
Cayenne turbo officle 0-60mph: 4.4s (500hp)
RR sport SC officle 0-60mph: 5s (510hp)

A (500hp) cayenne turbo is more than double the price of the SRT (470hp)
even the fully loaded GTS(420hp) is around $120k :D

all are 2014 .... wish we had the 2014 X5m numbers

The SRT is a great car but the GTS has less hp and torque. And about the price the Cayenne is a Porsche so it is expensive. But you have to give credit to the GTS interior design and quality.
Anyway, I didn't test my 14 SRT acceleration until now, I have only drove it for less than 50 km lol.

The interior dedign of the Cayenne is not great like the SRT IMHO. Way way too busy! The uconnect 8.4an is also much better! Not being an SRT homer either....just honest. The TT cayenne should be A LOT faster...but in real world and tests...it is not. Arent they like 550hp? Give the SRT 550 ponies with some mods and its in the 11's imho.

Cayenne turbo is 500hp
Cayenne turbo S is 550hp .. Which gives it 0.1s advantage over the regular turbo

not much power (Real Power) for the money or the rating .

PS:most cayennes are bagged up, slow 6 cylinders withs the turbo kit :)

Yes the Cayenne's interior has soooooooo many buttons but it is a nice place to be and the quality is super great. Well, people don't buy the Cayenne for track times, they want a fast Porsche SUV and the Turbo is very fast. The SRT has advantage from stand still but a race from 50 mph the Cayenne will fly.

Wait, you're saying a 470 HP SUV is faster in a straight line than a 420 HP SUV?!?

It would be interesting to see the GTS vs SRT around some corners, then again, we are talking about cornering characteristics of SUVs lol.
