Hi all

Im trying to upload a pic..but im @ work and security issues..

that said...I picked up my white 14 Limted 5.7 with lux II 20" rims/wheels
pano sunroof...Nav...u connect....umm I think thats it..oh ant tow hitch

I paid 41k..which i know is a steal...truck listed out at 46-47k

I picked it up Fri...and immediatly had to go to connecticuit (I live in nyc area)..

Now I have owned a ton of rides...last being my 2012 Jeep cherokee SRT8..some of you may remember me on those forums..

This Jeep is an absolute Pleasure...and a Pillar of excellant craftsmanship IMO

The 8 SPEED is flawless ..I mean it is a unreal feel if you have never driven a 8 speed before. It pulls with no jerks or weird downshifts...if you know what I mean..

For those that are real driving enthusiasts ..let me tell you the steering feel is AWESOME...CHRy hit this one on the damm head for sure..its weighted absolutly perfect...with total road feel in mind..It was an orgasm on wheels driving it to CONN. I didnt bring her past 80 but she could have done 60-110 with no porblemo...and with 30 miles on her I avg. 20 miles per gallon on highway..

More to come...I will answer any ? if u have any...sorry for typos..i suck at typing :)

oh and the new Nav and stereo is awesome...sounds booming..bass solid and deep...and FINALLY a nav that is usable

Congrats.. its very nice to hear a positive post about someone loving a glitch free new ride. I had one small one, but was dealt with quickly and its all golden now. It sounds like you loaded your limited up, got a great deal, and are enjoying it.

I am interested in how the transition from an SRT JGC would go, and if anyone would do it. Is there a reason you did move to a more conventional SUV jeep rather than stay with a MY14 SRT?

Hi Titan...well the SRT is an absolute BEAST and i commuted with her everyday to Manhattan..and I didnt mind that..but she got smashed parked on church street :(

so i fixed her up and sold her for 60k...LOL a profit..I paid 57 for mine..Ill get another one soon..or maybe a Viper :)

But for now I will commute with this smooth baby...

Oh one Thing I will add as a DISLIKE...a NEg for me..maybe not for others...is waayyy to much Chrome on her for my taste.its like they got Chrome happy..but an easy fix .i will be blacking most of her out..including powder coating the wheels...:)

LOL.. I have had lots of different vehicles, including an SRT8 Challenger (in Hemi Orange 6 speed) and everything from boring accords to 1956 Porsche 356 and everything in between.. I am done trying to go super fast or offroad (just traded Wrangler in on this) so I am thinking this was an excellent middle ground purchase for me. I did literally try and trade it back in to the dealership 3 days after I bought it on an SRT version, but apparently they didn't think it was still worth what I paid for it 3 days ago..

Anyway, I agree with the chrome, but I think the limited has more than my Overland... not sure. There is a lot on there though. Keep us posted on the process of the blackout.

Thanks.

This is the exact vehicle I am looking to buy, color and everything. I have been debating adding the Lux II and V8 options. To add or not to add that is the question. For $41k I would add both. How did you get that deal and where? I am on Long Island.

Count me in for looking for this combo. I would love to know this as well. It seems as if the east coasters are getting better deals. Here in Texas I can't get anywhere close to 41k for this combination of desired features.

Hi..I fully recommend springing for thos options the lights alone are amazing / beautiful on lux II

on my price...Well to be honest...helps when the owner of dealership is a friend..

DEFF WORTH THE EXTRA $$ FOR THE OPTIONS THO...im VERY SORRY BUT SHE IS TOO HAEVY FOR THE V6 imo SHE NEEDS A 5.7 TO MOVE HER ASS AROUND .LLOL ...and I love that pentastar engine but just think the cherokee feels more alive with the Hemi

Also..keep in mind I had a 29k trade in that wipes out alot of the taxes

The Lux II has the upgraded leather, how does it compare with the standard leather on the limited?

With auto start can you have the car start with AC and the ventilated seats on?
YES - depending on outside temperatures I believe - have to check the OM for specifics. HOWEVER, others report having issues with UConnect with the HVAC on remote starts so will have to keep an eye on updates (which are slowly coming to fix any issues the early builds).

This is redeeming news to me. I bought a 2013 Laredo X in August, but its been sitting since I deployed in February, and has less than 12k miles on it. When I get back I was debating trading for the same exact option package as this. Seems like I wouldn't pay much in the trade at all, and that is great to me, since I need to buy the wife a newer car too.
