Thanks Mike! Appreciate the kind words!Just curious, but what made you decide to do all LEDs on the exterior? I find the stock lights to be pretty decent, but is there a remarkable difference between OEM vs LED?
Just wondering. Awesome build by the way!
Mike
First, the fogs on my 14' are a yellow-hue halogen bulb. They did not match the LED's, Halos or Headlights. Plus the light output was horrible. So I wanted a consistent look up front with more light. As you can see in the attached pictures, the Phillips H11's put out A LOT of light with a great cutoff. The dark pic is with no fogs, the other is fogs only (with Halos/LED strip)
Second, I live in a dark area and need to reverse a good distance on a regular basis. The OEM halogen bulbs also did not match as they have a yellow hue and the light output is minimal at best. I have now done 3 WK2 LED reverse replacements and the difference is amazing. It is almost like having HIDs in the reverse housing. Plus, when I am backing out of a parking spot at night, you can VERY easily see that I am in reverse...which is a nice additional safety feature.
Lastly, now all lighting matches in the 4300-6k range, which I highly prefer over the stock halogen yellow!! So for me, yes the difference is remarkable!!!
