Tried the good ol search function, got some info just not anything definitive.

Has anyone successfully modified their Laredo's or Limited to use the Overland headlights?

From the research I've done thus far, the molex connectors are different between the two. Would it be easier to buy the entire front end harness which probably isn't cost effective or can you use the existing connection and change the harness?

Also, on eBay I've notices AFS vs non AFS headlights. No idea on what the difference is. Thoughts there as well?

I can answer part of your question. AFS are adaptive headlights such as the ones in the Summit. Non-AFS are the ones that come in the overland and limited with the lux II package. I recently swapped out my overland lights for some SRT ones and the adaptive part does not work. It appears it's a setting within the truck's computer. If you do end up buying some, I would suggest buying some that are non-AFS. They also tend to be cheaper.

Hi, so I got some 2014 Srt lights but one is no-afs and the other one is Afs will I have an. Issue With the lights !?

Changing to the hid/led lights is not that simple. You will need a custom harness to connect the new headlights and to not throw a bunch of light out codes. Unfortunately, there is not one readily available at this time. Forum member Jeep_addicted is working on one and is pretty close, but still having hyper flash issues with the turn signals. Hopefully that will be resolved soon.

As far as afs non afs, it makes no difference, you can use either.

FreeJersey's response was bang on for a '14, but aren't you putting yours in a 2011?? Totally different harness....

As far as the AFS, I don't think I remember reading about anyone having used one of each yet, not saying it won't work, but don't think anyone has done it yet... I don't know enough about the AFS system to comment...

Read through the main thread on this subject, if you haven't already. It comes up a couple times in there. Afs non afs does not matter. Afs and auto leveling won't work in the retrofit anyway.

If you have a 2011, you should be fine. His harness for that conversion works without any issues.

Also, I wasn't aware that the 2014 SRT8 headlights were available without AFS.

I'm not sure about thet afs. I got one lamp from a eBay saller and the other lamp from a other! But one discretion say ASF and ther other don't say ASF, so I'm just assuming that I got one with out ASF. I'm I wrong!?
