Just got a new '18 GC Overland with the V6 and am experiencing a shudder feeling (almost like a belt slip) when driving 50MPH+. I have turned off the ECO mode and nothing changed. I have Active Safety Group, so I turned off the lane departure system and it seemed to get a little better, but am not sure. I am going to try various things today to replicate the problem (See if it happens while cruise control is activated, etc.), but am at a bit of loss as this is a brand new vehicle. I've searched the forum and couldn't find anything similar. Does anyone have any ideas of what is happening? Thanks in advance!

Didn't feel like a tire issue at all. Felt like slipping of power from the engine. It was a very hot day, so the air conditioning was on pretty high. Maybe the AC wasn't working correctly and causing the issue. I drove it today on the highway in even hotter temperatures and couldn't replicate the issue. Tried all speed ranges and all combinations of auto cruise control, lane departure, ECO mode, etc. Nothing replicated, so maybe it was just something that needed a little breaking in.

Hello Calabasas,

We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this with your new Grand Cherokee. If you get it duplicate again and decide to take it into the dealer, let us know. We're available via direct message and would be happy to help.
