Yesterday I was at cruising speed and would feel a hesitation every 5 seconds. The tach wasn't showing any changes. It felt like someone was tapping slightly on the brake or that feeling when you are about to run out of gas. Just a slight hesitation that didn't affect speed. After a few miles I pulled over and restarted the car. It was still there. Only at cruising speed though not on acceleration.

Pulled over again, did some searches on google, and when I pulled off it had gone away.

Anyone experience this before?

EDIT: I had over a quarter tank of fuel and the HVAC was off.

Not sure if you missed my post from Sunday titled "'18 GC Overland V6 Shudder at 50MPH+", but that is pretty much exactly what happened to me. However, mine was different circumstances with the AC on. The next two days I couldn't replicate it at all. No idea what the issue was and hope it never comes back! Please post again if you find out more info.

Yup I read that after I posted this and almost PM'd you to see if we saw the same exact thing. But when you said stutter, I felt you meant more of a shaking. This felt like I had a trailer on the back and every 5 seconds the trailer's brakes would kick on for a second.

And I haven't experienced it since.

Thank You. If I do notice the issue again, I would make an appointment with my local dealership and also send you a PM.

I've had this happen on my 2015 JGC OL. Disabling fuel-economy mode made it go away. I'm convinced it was bad gas when the cylinder(s) would cut off/on.
