I had this once. Check all the bulbs and didn't find a burnt out one. It turned out to be I believe a 194 bulb in the rear lights, it was really hard to notice without pulling the lights out of the housings. Does the warning come on when you hit the brakes or when you turn the lights on? If it happens when you hit the brakes check all you brake bulbs, the third brake light on the hatch has 3 bulbs in it not 2. If it happens when you turn your lights on pull each bulb out of the housing and physically check them.

I had the issue with a loose bulb on the passengers side and again when the middle bulb in the third brake light went. If all your lights are working check your VIC for bad solder joints.

The VIC is the info display that is telling you you have a tail light failure. To check for bad solder joints you would need to remove the VIC from the jeep and take it apart.
