Hi guys,
i've been wanting to do a throttle body cleaning of my jeep(97K with unknown service history) & im hoping you guys can steer me in the right direction.
ive got a 3M throttle body cleaner aerosol ready to go, & im hoping to do it this weekend.
from what ive read, removing the TB should be straight forward, im more worried about how to go about the cleaning once its off.
thanks

- ive heard TB's have a protective coating which the cleaner might deteriorate.
- also, what should i look out for interms of fouling the electronics (IACV/MAP)?
- is it ok to open the blade up to clean it? will this throw off the calibration?
- any other DIY cleaning/solvent recomendations?
thanks
