hi, I have a 2006 gr. cherokee 3.7 that is hard starting and when it does start, when you accelerate it cuts in and out like it has no fuel. sounds like something with fuel delivery is haywire. Any ideas? Thanks 6fit.

A fuel pressure test would be a great place to start, there is a fitting on the fuel rail you can thread a fuel pressure gauge onto to check this... only problem now is you likely need to buy a fuel pressure gauge... and all the sudden a trip to the shop makes a little more sense
