It's actually very rare. 2011 model year only. It's essentially a pimp'ed out Laredo X. 26K does seem high for a 2011 with 43K miles on it, but since it's a special edition and rare, the price is high.

Is it being sold by a Jeep dealer?

Idk how many they made, but that price to me seems a tad high for the mileage. If I were in your position I would probably bite the bullet and look for a new 2013/14 Laredo X for 5-6k more since you are financing anyways.

On the plus side, with that many miles, I can only guess that a lot of them were highway miles and not off-road miles.

Just my 2 pennies.

The 70th Anniversary edition was a standard trim level in 2011. They were not numbered cars. Anyone could buy/order one. It does have some nice trim features but at the end of the day it is still a Laredo X. The price seems high for that mileage. Work him down or try and find a limited with more bells and whistles for similar pricing if you can.

Quite frankly I think it was one of the better designed jeeps when it comes to exterior esthetics. In the past the jeep trims, more specifically the entry level laredo have alienated customers with their absurd use of the matte black plastic pieces. Rather then shift the wk2 trims up proportionality, they made the jump to way too much chrome. I really like they way these look when I seem them on the road. Best of luck.
