So a Turbo V6 in a jeep... thats cool, Except... wait.... i have one of those already :D

I'm guessing the FORD Ecoboost engines are helping push this idea... the first ecoboost vehciles came out this year.... They are bad ass

They should take a page out of Buick's book. I think its the lacrosse or the lucerne has an audio filter in the cabin which masks added sounds from their direct injection engine.

so whats up with the turbo'ed V6? Is that gonna be a perfromance version or is it bull?

As has been known, the 2011 GC will launch with the new 280 hp Pentastar V6. I don't see any sign of a turbo version scheduled for the new GC. At least not for the 2011 or 2012 model year.

IF a next gen Jeep SRT gets the green light, it will have one and only one engine - the 6.4L Hemi.

gotcha......I believe the article stated like 2013 or 14 for the turbo'ed V6

So Milous, are you saying that the only real reason anyone would want the 5.7 now is for towing? ie, is the performance of the V6 basically equal when lightly loaded, but the torque of the 5.7 helps when towing?
