2011 Jeep Compass 2.0L

Hey guys, my ride has been down for the count for about two weeks now and I start a new job today. I could really use the help!

So about 5 months ago I bought this thing, from day one had starting issues. Would start up - run for 3 seconds - turn itself off. This would happen until it wouldn't start at all.. and then after waiting 10 minutes or so, would start just fine. It's been like this since the beginning but now she won't even crank. I saw people having issues with the ASD relay, so I hard wired that in since the pin got melted inside the fuse box. I replaced the battery in my fob when I first got it. Even though I don't think it's the original and the only one that was received. I have an ignition switch to put in but can't reach in the small spaces.

Any ideas on what it could be? Also "side note", there's a little red dot that blinks when you turn the ignition "On". Before when she ran, you could turn on the ignition and wait to see if it flashed. When it didnt, you could start her right up. When it did flash, the normal start run die start run die, no start, start right up.

I'm so lost and confused and concerned this is the newest and most expensive vehicle I've boughten so far to only get a couple of months out of her.
