I have a 2011 jeep grand Cherokee overland and can you believe , updates for the navigation are obsolete ???, 75k vehicle and need now a new stereo to update ?? planned obsolescence maybe ? anyone have a newer than 2011 map update for me ?

They stopped issuing updated years ago for the MY11-13 head units. Firmware 2.7000 was the most recent. This is normal for vehicles. Some folks who are hanging on to these older vehicles have put in new, third party head units with appropriate interfaces so they can use modern navigation, such as Google Maps, Apple Maps and Waze via CarPlay and/or Android Auto, which means the information is always up to date.
