Everyone,

I have been looking through the depths of the forum to find a complete turn-key installation for upgrading to LED lights. I'm finding some are using in line resistors, some are not. Also seeing quite the variety of lights with different price ranges.
The lights Im needing guidance on:
-Get the front fog lamps to match the Xenon headlights.
-change turn signal and break lights to LEDs
-change back up lights to LED

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I would hate to spend the money and either buy crap lights or burn them out for not putting resistors in.

Thanks!

I replaced the fog lights with below. They are a perfect match. Plugs match, and actually put out a lot more light.

PSX24W 30W XenonDepot LED Fog Light Bulbs
[Color:5000K]1$46.99$46.99

I replaced my backup lights with LEDs increased the visibility there too.

As for the tail lights they are tricky and I abandoned it. The jeep has pretty high current output for the tail lights. It uses it to determine if the lights are burnt out. The LEDs have a low power consumption so the computer thinks that the lights are out. You need to buy a in-line resistor to add on to the wireing harness. I bought led tail lights and they ended up melting in the housing. And the resistor got so damn hot that it actually started to melt some of the tail light housing. I'm sure there is a way to do it. But after the money spent and hassle I just went back to the stock tail lights.
