With any such device, believe it or not, pressing the fob into your chin, just under your jaw, will extend the range. Your jaw serves as an antenna. Works great when you walk away from (any) car and forgot to lock the doors. When you realize it many yards away and the remote won't register, try it.On my 2013 Overland the remote start range is very poor. Is there any way of extending the range?? Dealer says he doesn't know what to do.

Sounds like you might have a problem with either your WK2 or your remote. Have you tried BOTH remotes? From the Owners Manual:
REMOTE STARTING SYSTEM — IF EQUIPPED
This system uses the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter to start the engine conveniently from
outside the vehicle while still maintaining security. The system has a range of
approximately 300 ft (91 m).
Mine won't work from 30 feet.
Just want it to work as advertised, I'll take it to the dealer. Thanks for the help.
