Hi all. So Im 90% sure im gonna get a new(er) jeep. I've decided that I want to go with a '13 Overland. I dont mind the '14's, they just dont quite do it for me. BTW this will be the first car where I negotiate myself.
So I went to a dealer near my office, they have a '13 Overland 4x4 Hemi in stock. Its Mineral Gray on Saddle which is a combo im definitely interested in. Also it has Adaptive cruise control/ blind spot & quadra drive II and the Summit grille (threw me off at first).
MSRP has it at $49,180...told me out the door is $41,205 + Tax title etc = $45,511.
Now when I throw an invoice together For the same model I get $46,006.00..ive been reading that some people have been getting new '13s recently for 11% off invoice?..by my calculations this would be approx $40,045.34 which isnt too bad if I compare that to the out the door price they gave me (wrong to compare that?).
Heres the thing though, its a Demo that was used by the "owners wife" and has 4,964 miles on it, so it wont be new-new, i'll have the warranty though...Im just wondering if anyone thinks I may be able to get them to play ball in the high 30's before trade in..I plan to throw in my 07 WK Limited w/ 73,000 at the end for a trade in. Its been kept in solid condition, Im hoping i can get them to give me 15-16 for it.
Sorry for the essay, I just like hearing others opinions and most of my good friends arent that helpful when it comes to these type of things.
