I have no idea how any of this works, and am not familiar at all with how to get it to work. But will iTunes work if transferred to an SD card? I show that the files are listed as mpeg4, is that acceptable? Do I need to change the file format somehow, and if so, is that possible and how do I do that?

Pick up my '14 Limited first thing tomorrow morning. Just got delivered today. Looking forward to it. Thanks for the help.

Hey Sno, I did exactly what r49 is asking on a 32g Sandisk 10 class SD card. Of the 2200 songs i loaded only 124 actually work. Do you know what format the songs have to be? Is there something within Itunes to change the song format so that its the correct one? Do I need to reformat the card? Any help would be grateful. Thanks

The iTunes format should work problem free, unless the tracks were purchased during the DRM encrypted days of iTunes. You may want to format the card and try again. Make sure you lock the card before you put it in the Grand. If it isn't working that after you try again, that is weird.

Itunes supports a number of formats that are not compatible with the UConnect system. For example MP4 is Mpeg4 which is a Video Streaming format which I am not sure it can play. Also there are a lot of AAC files often in itunes which likely also wont play.

You can plug an ipod directly into the USB interface or if you have an Apple phone you can also play wirelessly via Bluetooth (iPads too)

If you have an Android Smart phone and want to sync with iTunes, get "Sync Tunes". Allows you to wirelessly keep your Android phone up to date with your itunes library and it plays seemlessly with the Jeep in Bluetooth. (Still no Album art on Bluetooth but I assume it is coming as it works in my 2011 Durango no Problem).

I have tested the above on the 2014 Jeep, let me know if you have any questions.

Though the SD card is a nice idea, it lacks the stored Playlists etc that you can do through another device. Had the SD Card in my Benz, stopped futzing around with trying to work with it after a few months.
