My 8.4AN is stuck on a screen that says XM service is loading. Before this it rebooted on me out of the blue and I seem to have lost all presets. I left it on this screen for over 15 minutes before shutting the vehicle off with no luck. How do I get sat back?!?

FYI a few weeks ago I upgraded the software of the unit to I think 13.15.4 (whatever was posted 5/24 or so.) It seemed to help with issues of temp update and responsiveness. This is a real bummer though...

Any ideas or go to dealer (5.5 hours trip back home without SXM will suck!)

I did the reset and got satellite back; however, the volume is way off (needs turned way up to hear anything) and there is a settings button where Apps was. Argh this is aggravating. I think Windows ME was more stable...

The settings button will change back to an apps button. Give it a little time. IDK about the volume no one has ever mentioned that as a problem after the reset. You might try resetting again before putting all presets, favorites ect. back in. The link below has info about people that have used the reset to resolve some issues with Uconnect.

i get the volume issues every now and then, one day it will be at 10-12 and the next i have to have it a 25-30 to keep the same sound level(auto sound turned off)

The sound issue was OK the last two times it was on, so hopefully it will stay that way. I had issues with the Navigation part lagging though first time using it after the reset
