There are only a certain amount of Jeeps with each spec (trim, color, engine, etc.) that are allotted to be built each month, and the allotment for what you are ordering must have been filled. It should open up again in the next two weeks. Hopefully Milous can confirm that I am correct, but I can tell you (with 99% certainty) that Cashmere has not been discontinued forever.

Thanks, for the quick reply. I am sitting in the dealer's office.

Ask him/her if any other colors/options have been "discontinued". My guess is that a fair amount of them are restricted because it is the end of the month. If so, I should be correct and you will only have to wait another ~5-10 days to order.

After pressing them, they clarified that it was an allotment, not a discontinuance. They tried that tactic to get me to take a unit found elsewhere, which did not meet my specs exactly. Thanks again.

No problem. At least they admitted they were feeding you bull$hit. By the way, Cashmere is a sharp color. I saw it on an Overland the other day and was thoroughly impressed. Let us know how it works out!
