Does anyone know what the device is inside console under removable blank
back by console hinges? Has a red pull strap attached. I have pics but can't attach.

That is the emergency manual Park release. (If the battery is dead)

See Pg 557 in the owners guide, I think it's the "what to do in emergency" section. (Hope not to need that often!)
