2014 GC CD player

Are you talking about the one that is the "optional" when you normally order them? If so, it normally sits in the console and you almost all the space in there. There are pictures of this which has made some people regret buying that. That you might have to talk to the dealer to see if they can order for you.

Actually I don't think you can take the factory CD player out. I was told that would result in a malfunction in the electrical system since it is factory installed. But why on earth would anyone want a CD player that is useless and takes most of the storage space in the center console? It's a horrible design and in my case I never had a chance to view the actual vehicle I purchased so didn't know it would be installed that way. This whole debacle has really soured my impression of what would otherwise have been a pleasurable experience. BTW, the customer care totally sucks, typical phone system where they funnel you around IVRs for 30 minutes with ridiculously long menus and confusing options. What a freakin joke this whole thing has been. Someone should be fired.
