Blue...wrap it? Or, I have heard that you can pay the factory an extra $10k-ish and get it done in whatever color if your dealer knows what they are doing.

^Thanks for the suggestions guys, but I am looking for a Modern Blue like replacement as a factory $0 option (or low cost).

I would have loved to get mine in the Viper's Shadow Blue Pearl. A solid blue is sorely missing from the lineup unfortunately.

So, is it pretty easy to walk into any dealer and have them order you a 2014? Or are dealers being limited on allocation, etc.?

Depending on how my warranty appointment goes next week on the CF interior and wheels may depend on if I keep the 2012 or get something else. I wouldn't pay more than invoice, if that.

a sold order with your name on it is easy to order....but they can find about anything u want in the dealer system. Unless u want no sunroof or something like that. Pricing varies by area, dealer etc. Dealers CANT order without it being a sold order...or so Im told.

My dealer had a couple of 2014 SRT's on the lot that weren't sold units. Unless when he ordered them, he told Chrysler they were sold units?

Thanks, I did a local search and not much around I want even for this highly populated area. If I were to get something new I am contemplating no sunroof as I never use it so I'd probably be ordering.

I have asked my wife a couple of times if she wants mine and I'd sell hers and get something, but she really likes her 2010. She loves flat red and said a redline 2014 is only thing she would want. Still though, she thinks the wk2 feels bulky and big compared to her WK.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT8 - Features & Changes

I am now seriously looking at upgrading to a '14 SRT.
Just to clarify the AU models and the recent changes.

From what I have read ALL Aug 2013 builds now have ACC with Stop?

Torque Black Laguna Leather Seats is standard or optional?

Can someone link me to what the Torque Black Laguna Leather Seats looks like ?

Any idea when we can order the black spider monkey wheels, as there is no option for this in AU (I am happy to sling a few cases of beer to out JNAP workers if they can put these wheels on for me;) )

Took one for a test drive on the weekend and I am still smiling, I need some HEMI POWER

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT8 - Features & Changes

My first post (apologies if it is the wrong thread!). I've just bought a Jeep 6.4 SRT in Graphite Grey with the Pano Roof and Audio upgrade....but I don't get it till mid Dec (on a ship). I'll be using the tracking option to see where it is at. I'm pretty excited to have my first "Yank Tank" after 10 years of 3 x Toyota Klugers! I'm based in Sydney Australia and will have a bunch of Newbie Q's so please bear with me while I wait for my delivery. I've not been so excited about a new car for 20 years and can not wait to get my hands on it! My first dumb Q's
- is there any obvious beginner mods I should look at (the dealer suggested swapping the air box) that will not void warranty?
- the std model comes with Pirelli P0 Run Flats that cost a small fortune out here, and the dealer says I'll burn them out in 20K. What do you guys run?
- does this beast really run on E10? The site says it is compatible but any advice on what fuel to push through it?
- any other must have accessories?
- any Sydney based Drive Course for Jeep SRTs?
- other suggestions to kill the time till I get my hands on this beast?

If I'm no the wrong thread for a Newbie please let me know
Thanks
Nathan

Edit - I was looking for a "Hot" SUV and I can not believe how good value for money the SRT is compared to the Euros here in Oz. My other option was an Audio SQ5 and it was another 20K

Where in Sydney are you and what dealer did you use?

The only place that "apparently" will do some sort of drive day is Suttons at Waitara, but good luck getting your car from them first!

Congrats!

I have heard the same on the Pirellis - I will be replacing mine with the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2 when the time comes. They are half the price and I've had good success with those on other vehicles. They aren't run flats, but I really don't care.

I would look into getting a catch-can as a must have accessory. Billet Tech is a sponsor here and has a great product.

How to kill time? Good luck with that! It's like waiting for Christmas when you were a kid!

I'm near Roseville SVM who I ordered the car from. I'll check to see if they organise any drive days.
