Has anyone attempted to remove the new '14 front grille fascia? I want to pull out the chrome rings and have them painted to match.

Does the outer front fascia just snap out w tabs like on the '13s even though it runs under the headlights now?

They do but you have to get to the back of the entire fascia to pop out the rings (at least on the 13's you do)

Well that sucks - thanks for the great find! Hopefully I can get a trim stick in there and pop the rings off b/c if not that's quite a bit of work.

Sounds like a good idea, post pics if/when you do it.

Completely off topic: Scott 43,000 posts!?!?! I did the math that's 42 posts a day since 2009! You're nuts man!

I did not have any luck removing the chrome rings from the front. If you open the hood and look down you can see the chrome ring fasteners on the back side but you can't reach in the gap to get to all of them. I also couldn't begin to get the lower air intake fascia rings off either, so I just gave in and am going to let the shop do it with all the rest of the tasks at hand next week. I'm not thrilled having the shop remove the bumper either but I figure it's the safer bet.

Can you remove the fascia from a 2014 and pop on a 11-13 Summit fascia? I miss the old grille.
Sure, but not on a Summit, only on a Laredo, Limited, or Overland, if you replace the grille, bumper, and lower fascia, but you might have to replace the headlights too. The fenders and hood are the same. You might be able to put a 2013 SRT grille and bumper on in place of the 2014 Summit grille and bumper though.
