I haven't been able to find anything on this recently - anyone know if the 0-60 times have improved on the V6 version of this Jeep with the new 8 speed tranny vs 5? Thanks!
I don't have official numbers but from the 2 test drives we went on the v6 is quite a bit faster from the but dyno. It almost seems like it has torque now.
No official numbers here, but the back of my head says it has more power too. I floored it coming onto a road without thinking and it snapped my head back into the headrest. The '12 I traded in wouldn't really do that so I wasn't expecting it. The 8 speed most certainly will!

Nobody ever wants to give credit to the lowly rear.
The gear ratio went from 3.09 to 3.45.
Not to discount the new transmission, but it is a team effort.
The rear allows for the higher towing capacity as it is constant allowing the vehicle to show more muscle at higher speeds where the tranny would make less of a difference.
