Hey folks want to do a couple small mods. I would like to remove my mirror caps and sharkfin antenna, paint or plastidip them, and reinstall. How do I remove these to 2 items? Are the caps held on with clips? I have no idea how that sharkfin is mounted, just tabs?

Has anyone actually replaced their mirror caps. I have replacements and am going through mopar steps to remove and replace but step 4 (taking off mirror insert) seems a little too vague. Is there a certain spot to put a flathead or are there any tips?? Thanks.

tilt it all the way in...and just pull it off....it just clips on
